ARRI ARTEMIS 2 (1.8" Standard Post, Basic Set)

For more than 20 years, the original Artemis has been a reliable tool, trusted by the industry. Now the ARRI ARTEMIS 2 continues that success story and expands on it through new features.

Wide-ranging compatibility is assured through the use of ARRI's precision-engineered SAM plates, enabling cameras from different manufacturers to be securely and rapidly mounted to the stabilizers. The SAM standard permits fast, tool-free camera switching from either the ARTEMIS 2 or TRINITY 2 to a tripod or ARRI's stabilized remote heads.

The second-generation battery system has been completely redesigned. A new, modular battery hanger facilitates the most flexible, efficient, and dependable power management ever seen on a camera stabilizer system. Users can choose batteries from any manufacturer, anywhere in the world, and no matter what their choice, they will experience intelligently regulated 12V and 24V high-capacity power delivery. It is even possible to mix 12V and 2V batteries in any combination, using B-Mount, Gold Mount, or V-Mount, with power efficiency holding steady at an industry-leading 95%.

The new sled, consisting of a rock-solid bottom stage, battery hanger, 19 mm rods, and the new battery mounts, makes the lower section of the second-generation ARRI stabilizers more versatile and much sturdier. Rods are available in carbon, aluminum, or steel, giving operators additional counterweight opportunities when balancing their rigs. As well as accepting a wider range of monitors, the new monitor bracket is also rod-mounted and can slide in and out to provide even greater balancing freedom.

Modular Mechanical Stabilizer

This completely reevaluated second-generation stabilizer features a modular form that enables you to quickly build whatever rig configuration you need. New components comprise 80% of this mechanical stabilizer that easily transitions into the TRINITY 2 electronic stabilizer using separately available components.

Redesigned Top Stage/SAM Plates

The redesigned top stage features a fast but secure clamping system that works with the various ARRI SAM (stabilizer adapter mount) plates tailored for individual cameras.

Battery Agnostic

Now you can use almost any battery you have on hand to power your ARTEMIS rig: ARRI B-Mount, Gold mount, or V-mount with three battery inputs, each accepting both 12 and 24V batteries. Touches like rotating cable connectors and a self-leveling battery display make using the ARTEMIS easier and speed your setup.

Versatile Battery Mount

The versatile battery mount has interchangeable B-Mount, Gold mount, and V-mount plates that can easily be swapped.

19mm Rod Battery Support

The new 19mm rod battery support system features easy, clamp-on plates. The interchangeable rods enable you to select carbon fiber, aluminum, or steel rods that function as counterweights with a wider distribution pattern than that provided by a single, heavier battery.

Center Post Options

In addition to the standard center post, a longer version and a "Shorty" post are now available. The Shorty lends agility and speed to moves made when you're flying a longer camera and/or a heavier lens.

12G Video Connectors

Integrated 12G connectors are ready for video resolution updates, future-proofing your rig.

Monitor Bracket

The revamped monitor bracket and sliding rods accommodate wider 16 x 9 monitors and enable the monitor to be positioned closer to the bottom sled in compact configurations.

16-Pin Main Socket

The ARTEMIS 2's top sled features a new 16-pin main socket that enables faster data transfers.

Improved Gimbal

The rigid gimbal device features precision manufacturing, low-friction bearings, a patented self-centering mechanism, and a tool-free gimbal clamp for quick positioning on the center post.

Wide Compatibility

The ARTEMIS 2 offers time-saving workflows with an array of cameras, quick, tool-free switching to a tripod or ARRI SRH-360 (remote head), and multiple components compatible with 1st-gen stabilizers.
