CineMilled Handheld Mounting Plate for PRO-Ring System - Compact

The CineMilled Handheld Mounting Plate for PRO-Ring System - Compact enables the user to operate the PRO Ring with Ready Rig GS support system and optional Ready Rig "Spindle Mount" (not included) in regular hand held mode. This is ideal for achieving high energy camera movement in fight scenes or general action scenes where you do not want the camera to remain stable, or where you need very fast whip pans, tilts, etc. Add kinetic energy to any shot and save your back at the same time.

Hand-Held Mode

The handheld mount is adjustable and attaches between the two tubes of the ring. The user can mount a camera directly to it, or use a 3rd party accessory like a Ronford Baker Touch & Go mount, ARRI dovetail, et al. (sold separately). The same basic idea applies with the spindle mounts and the Ready Rig, since you can adjust the position of the spindle (you can tilt even a 30 lb Sony F65 with one finger). If you do not want handling to be that sensitive, you can simply slide the spindles upward to make the payload more bottom heavy.

The system permits use of the PRO-Ring for handheld operation with almost any studio configuration, enabling fast whip pans and dynamic movement and framing. When used in conjunction with the Ready Rig GS in this mode, all the physical effort is removed from your arms without sacrificing finesse and fingertip control of the camera. Make it kinetic, dynamic, or smooth as needed. Easily capture gimbal shots and add "shaky cam" elements without straining your back.
