Overview
The SHAPE Canon C100 / C300 / C500 Offset Rig is designed specifically for use with Canon Cinema EOS digital cameras, and shifts the weight of the camera to your shoulder, enabling proper viewfinder alignment. The rig provides a small, lightweight solution that remains expandable to a more elaborate configuration if needed.
Includes two pairs of 15mm rods (10" & 12"). The 12" rods are long enough to pass through the length of the SHAPE Baseplate, which attaches to the camera via (4) M4 screws (included), or with 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 screws (included). SHAPE ratchet keys located on both sides of the Baseplate can be tightened or loosened quickly to reposition the base on 15mm LWS rods.
This rig also includes a push-button Quick Handle Rod Bloc for fast setup adjustments, featuring two handles that can rotate individually on a 360° axis. The SHAPE handles can be rotated by pushing the red buttons. Once the buttons are released, the SHAPE handles are locked firmly in place. The Rod Bloc features a stainless steel locking mechanism for more durability, and is compatible with all 15mm LWS systems.
NOTE: All CNC machined, high-quality, aircraft-grade aluminum parts are hard anodized for a resistant finish and assembled with stainless steel screws to prevent rusting.
The SHAPE Mini Composite Shoulder Pad enables the user to transition from camera rig to tripod without removal, and is padded for superior comfort. It is compatible with 15mm LWS systems. The Back Pad attaches to the Composite Shoulder Pad via a camera screw knob (1/4"-20) and can be vertically adjusted up to 2" and rotated 360° to properly fit the operator's frame.
The SHAPE Off Set Bracket for Blackmagic Cage is designed for, and typically used with, the SHAPE Blackmagic Cage and Shoulder Mount (not included). However, in this case, it is functions as the primary offset bracket to shift the weight of the camera system to the operator's shoulder and clear line of sight to the viewfinder.
