Overview
The Zacuto ZUD 1/4"-20 is a short 15mm rod that ends in a 1/4"-20 female screw hole. It is primarily used to retrofit a Noga/Israeli arm (or similar) that ends in a 1/4"-20 screw to a rod end so one can use a Zacuto quick release mount.
The ZUD can also be used to mount an accessory that attaches with a male 1/4"-20 screw. The ZUD tightens to your arm or accessory with a small Allen bolt. The Zud is 1/2" threaded on the inside so it can be extended with a Zacuto male extension rod of any length (sold separately). Use a Zube (sold separately) to keep the rods tight and stop them from spinning.
