Motion Impossible MagTrax is an extension of the existing Sports drive-ends that enables AGITO to follow a magnetic strip laid on a surface, underneath a carpet, or embedded within a set. The magnetic strip is either an adhesive strip or square cross-section that can be laid in various creative ways, beyond what can be accomplished with conventional track. Operators lay a path the AGITO will autonomously follow, while they control the dolly’s speed, camera head and/or tower elevation.  

The primary benefits of this extension are single-person operation, quick setup/changes to the magnetic path (simply pickup and reset as needed), and the combination of free-roaming and fully tracked capability for the AGITO. 

Typical use case scenarios would be sports arenas or other outdoor broadcast events, live stage environments (music awards, concerts, etc.), feature film and episodic TV or streaming production (on-set or on-location), and production with time-limited locations requiring rapid turnaround.
