ARRI Compact Bridge Plate CBP-5 (19mm)

The ARRI CBP-5 is a compact and lightweight baseplate that combines the functionalities of a sliding studio bridge plate with a comfortable Visco shoulder pad. The top of the CBP-5 slides into the bottom of the Balance Utility Dovetail BUD-1 and allows for significant balance adjustment. The improved quick-release system, first seen in the CBP-1 for ALEXA Mini and now in its third generation, allows it to be lifted straight off the bottom dovetail plate without having to slide off from the rear. This is particularly helpful when dealing with larger lenses, or when needing to rapidly change from tripod-mounted to handheld configurations.

The CBP-6 accepts 15mm Lightweight and 19mm Studio rods. New structural supports and two tails underneath the CBP increase the rigidity of the system in contrast to previous CBP designs. The CBP-6 is only compatible with the ALEXA 35.
