Lens Control While in the Air

When it comes to cameras and lenses, advanced aerial cinema has always felt like a compromise: you must first set the lens, start the camera, and then take off. Once aloft, any adjustments require you to land the aerial device and reset. Adapting existing technology falls short because it is often large and heavy, has limited range, and drains batteries. Atlas Smart motors map to your aerial RC transmitter via S.Bus so you can make lens adjustments while in the air, opening up new possibilities of creative focus control.

Maximize Flight Time & Improve Footage

The extremely compact motors incorporate the entire remote unit within the motor housing, and draw power from your gimbal's S.Bus port. This means Atlas requires no additional batteries or control units. The Atlas motor is mapped to your RC transmitter for control and range like you've never had before.

New Generation of Power, Precision, & Reliability

Compared to the Torque motor, Atlas delivers 200% increase in resolution (to retain smooth focus pulls) and 300% increase in torque (for faster lens adjustment response). This opens up Atlas users to be compatible with a much wider range of lenses, including the stiffest cinema lenses.

Custom Feel

Torque and smoothness can be tuned and set on a per lens basis, or set as an overall preference for the system. Less experienced operators can use the Artistry™ feature for adding professional polish and smoothness to your shots.

Eclipse Mobile App

The included Eclipse mobile app lets you tune the performance for any lens and store those settings with the lens itself using MetaTags. This information is instantly recalled with MetaTouch, a feature that recognizes the lens and configures the system just by touching the lens to the motor.

• Mounting Flexibility - Atlas' sliding clamp extends motor reach to accommodate the widest variety of rigs and lenses. The 15mm/19mm clamp is secured by a lever actuator, which is stronger and easier to use than a traditional knob. Rotating cable ports help shorten cables and ease cable strain.
• Live Visual Feedback - Atlas Smart Motor LED indicators and OLED display intuitive updates such as power status, calibration results, even camera record start/stop. A quick glance gives you the confidence everything is running smoothly

For professionals needing a professional FIZ system, Atlas has everything you need at an attractive price. Entry level packages keep the total rig cost low by offering options for DSLR battery power, and a free mobile app for wireless control. Any Atlas motor can be expanded any of our controllers (solo op and remote), adding additional motors for iris and zoom just by daisy-chaining, and integrating into systems like drones and gimbals with an additional cable.

• True FIZ Control - Atlas can be controlled wirelessly from the Wireless Hand Unit or Navigation Command Module, the world's first Mini FIZ Controller
