Tangent Element Tk Panel

The ergonomic Tangent Element Tk Panel delivers a small footprint panel replacement to your standard keyboard and mouse for use with color grading software, such as DaVinci Resolve. The Tk Panel offers (3) trackballs and associated buttons to allow you to make precise selections during your post production edit workflow.

Intuitive Controls

The Tangent Element Tk Panel features clearly labeled controls so you there is no need for refering to reference notes or on screen help. If your software pairs with Tangent Mapper, you can customize the layout of your controls. It includes separate reset buttons for each trackball and ring (the elevated gray circle around each trackball). The rings feature smooth bearing rotation.

Panels are designed to function without a driver. They use built-in HID drivers that already come with your current Windows, Mac, or Linux operating system. The HID driver allows your USB keyboard and mouse to work hand-in-hand with your computer.

Function and Style

Not only does it boast a compact form factor, but its matte black surface and brilliant racer red trackballs make it stylish in the normally drab world of editing gear. You can also expand this system with additional side panels for more functionality. This panel is only 7.9" deep.

The Element is manufactured from aluminum.

All rotary controls and trackerballs include laser optical pickups, which translates to long-life and high precision. The reliable buttons feature a positive tactile response. The displays are crisp, high-contrast, high-resolution, easy to read, white OLEDs.

When put side-by-side with additional, optional panels, each panel magnetically locks together to maintain an aligned layout. This is achieved by (2) link pins that slot into holes on each side of the panel.

Power

The Element Tk Panel receives power and communicates with your computer using the provided USB cable. Your computer needs to be able to support high-power USB devices and supply 500mA through its USB port. This may mean you can connect to your desktop, but not your laptop to use these panels. Double-check your computer's specifications for compatibility.

NOTE: Remember to use a soft, damp cloth when cleaning the panel. Harsh abrasives and chemical cleaning products should be avoided to maintain the surface of the Element Tk Panel. Also, DaVinci Resolve and additional panels with added functionality are sold separately.
