Based on the FF High Speed Prime product line, the Sigma FF Classic Prime incorporates more non-coated optical elements to achieve unrivaled expression. It retains the large format, 8K high resolution capability and resolving power of the FF High Speed Prime, while offering a unique combination of low contrast and artistic flare/ghosting in the image. As with all other lenses from the FF High Speed Prime Line, this yields beautiful bokeh effects to enhance your creativity.
The FF Classic Prime Line has implemented newly developed coatings on the glass elements, including a special coating on the front and rear element for added durability. FF Classic Primes offer a consistent maximum aperture value across the lineup (14mm and 135mm at T3.2 and the rest of the lenses at T2.5). Furthermore, each lens is compatible with Cooke's "/i Technology" communication protocol, for shooting and editing with the latest technology.
