The Sennheiser MKH-8060 Compact Shotgun Microphone provides natural, high quality sound in a compact form factor, delivering outstanding off-axis linearity and attenuating sound coming from the periphery (side) without coloration. Like all mics in the 8000 series, the MKH-8060 can be easily combined with the MZD 8000 digital module (sold separately), turning it into a full-fledged digital microphone.
