Designed for use with camera microphones, portable recorders and mic foams, Mini Windjammers provide outstanding protection in applications such as outside broadcast and documentary film.
Originally developed by Rycote, the Windjammer is a high-quality, synthetic fur-cover that provides excellent protection against extreme wind-noise. Made from materials specially designed for wind-noise isolation, the Windjammer has virtually no adverse effect on high-frequency.
This particular Mini Windjammer fits your RODE Videomic Pro with Rycoe Lyre Shockmount, which is sold separately. It is designed to provide up to 30 dB reduction from wind noise and to protect against vocal plosives. Use this Windjammer over a foam windscreen (one is provided with your RODE Videomic Pro-R) or on your own.
