Canon
Canon announced the EOS C500 Mark II, featuring the same 5.9K full format CMOS sensor as their flaship C700 FF, 15+ stops of dyanamic range, Dual Pixel CMOS AF with support for Touch AF and Face Detection AF, and a user-changeable lens mount. RED
Ever since the introduction of the RED RANGER camera system, initially available only with a MONSTRO 8K VV sensor, cries to make the camera available with a broader range of RED sensors have echoed far and wide, and now the all-in-one RED RANGER camera system is available with your choice of sensor: MONSTRO 8K VV, HELIUM 8K S35, and GEMINI 5K S35. The RANGER system features, built-in, almost everything needed to accesorize a DSMC2 camera in order to head out and shoot. Learn more in Geoff's blog and RED's Tech video. Sony
Borrowing from the advances made in their prosumer Alpha 7 series, as well as their flagship VENICE cinema camera, the PXW-FX9 builds on Sony's midrange professional camera ecosystem and brings a full format sensor to the line for the first time. With features like built-in fast hybrid autofocus, dual base ISOs of 800 and 4000, gyroscopically enhanced post-capture image stabilization (with Sony E-mount lenses), and S-Cinetone (the camera’s new color science and look engine), the PXW-FX9 presents a tour-de-force of Sony technologies, many seen here for the first time. Lenses
ZEISS
ZEISS announced that a 150mm addition to their Supreme Prime family of full format lenses will be coming in December 2019. The 150mm will feature a T-stop of T1.8 and close focus at 4'11", with a front diameter of 114mm. (Note that all the Supreme lenses below 100mm have a front diameter of 95mm.) The 150mm Supreme will feature ZEISS eXtended data (XD) technology. Metadata from lenses with the XD protocol can be extracted for use in post prodution software, such as Nuke and After Effects. Bright Tangerine
The Bright Tangerine Canon EOS C500 Mark II Left Field Cage forms a load-bearing chassis for the camera, removing any physical stress from the camera body. The new Open•UP quick release system allows you to effortlessly move from tripod to handheld shooting and lets you slide, lock, and vertically release in seconds without the risk of the camera coming off unsafely. The Canon C500 Mark II Left Field Cage is built around three main sections, which together form the compelete cage: the Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate Mk II, Sliding Top Plate, and Side Plates. In addition to the three main sections, the kit also includes a top handle and monitor bracket to reposition the Canon LA-V1 monitor bracket onto the handle or the cage itself for use with the LM-V2 LCD monitor.
Fathom
The Fathom Camera Cage One is a full-wrap camera cage, designed for mirrorless and DSLR cameras. It is adjustable to fit most 4K mirrorless cameras, providing countless mounting options and configurations, and allowing full access to all camera features. The cage provides multiple NATO rail attachment points, and both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female threads. Secure camera attachment can be achieved via a bottom 1/4"-20 tripod thread and a shoe mount that's adjustable on 3 axes, plus repositionable anti-twist pins to accommodate a variety of cameras. Miller
The Miller CiNX series of fluid heads were designed to meet the needs of today's cinematographer with a quick release sideload platform that enables users to seamlessly re-rig faster than ever before. A key feature of the CiNX Series is Miller’s interchangeable base – offering versatility in adapting the fluid head to a number of base configurations such as 100mm, 150mm claw ball, and Mitchell mount (100mm standard). OConnor
The OConnor Ultimate 1040 Fluid Head & Flowtech 100 Tripod System supports payloads from 0-45 pounds (within a 5" center of gravity) and includes a lightweight carbon fiber Flowtech 100 leg set featuring a 100mm bowl, quick release brakes, and rubber feet for stability. The new Ultimate 1040 Fluid Head brings the same build quality and precision movement found in the larger OConnor 2575 and 2065 heads to a lightweight, easily transportable design, enabling operators to transition from heavier to lighter camera payloads without compromise.
SmallHD
The latest announcements from SmallHD out of IBC are two new lines of 4K HDR field monitors: the Cine and Vision series. The Vision series are 4K HDR reference-grade field monitors that prioritize color accuracy and feature high quality displays coupled with a sophisticated 2,000+ zone local dimming array for dark blacks and true colors. This series will be available in 13", 17", and 24" models. The Cine series are 4K High Bright field monitors, designed to allow true 4K monitoring in the field. The Cine series uses edge-lit LED panels with up to 2,500 nits of brightness. They can display 100% of the DCI P3 color gamut and will also be available in 13", 17" and 24" sizes. These monitors should be available early in 2020 so check out SmallHD's site for details, and stay tuned for more coverage.

The ARRI Orbiter is possibly the most advanced luminaire ever created, featuring a fast processor (4x faster than the SkyPanel, with 125x more memory), expanded connectivity, an integrated array of sensors, a weatherproof housing, and smooth dimming from 100% to 0%. Orbiter features a new, six-color light engine with red, green, blue, amber, cyan, and lime LEDs. Rotolight
New from Rotolight is the Titan X2 2x1 LED fixture with electronically adjustable diffusion. The diffusion of the front panel surface can be controlled via a dial/menu system, along with the light’s other features, from the rear of the unit (or, via Bluetooth app, LumenRadio or wired/wireless DMX). With the diffusion set to 50%, Rotolight claims an output of over 2000 Lux at three meters and is calling it “the brightest 2x1 soft light ever made.” Featuring RGBWW LEDs, color temperature (expressed as CCT) can be varied from 3,000-10,000K with a TLCI-2019 of 98 (at 3200K). HSI, RGBW, XY, and filter color modes are available as well.
One of the first companies to integrate creative special effects into their light fixtures, Rotolight has upped the ante in collaboration with VFX veteran Stefan Lange to create realistic full-color versions of popular effects (such as fire, lightning, TV, muzzle-flash, paparazzi, etc.) for the Titan X2. And, like many of Rotolight’s other lights, the Titan X2 features high-speed flash sync for still photography at up to 1/8000th of a second, which can be wirelessly triggered up to 656’ away using the Rotolight HSS transmitter and integrated Elinchrom Skyport receiver.
