Changing Zeiss CP.2 Lenses from EF to PL Mount

One of the great features of the Zeiss CP.2 Prime lenses is the ability to change lens mounts.

The CP.2s come from the factory with a specific lens mount, most commonly PL or EF, but end users can purchase different mounts for use on different cameras. Five mount options are available including PL, EF, F, E and MFT mount. Changing between these mounts can seem a bit complicated, as it involves several screws and a Torx Torque Wrench (included with the kit).

Zeiss has tried to make it as easy as possible though, and have put together a detailed video showing exactly how to change the EF mount on a CP.2 to a PL mount. This is definitely a must-watch for CP.2 lens owners or anyone wanting to learn more about how professional cinema lenses work, so check out the full video above.
