The update includes a new variant of the ALF4 look file (ALF4c) allowing for custom Display Render Transforms (DRTs), also known as Output Transforms, to be loaded downstream of existing ALF4 look files and applied to SDI outputs 1 & 2. ARRI also updated the CCM-1 Camera Control Monitor’s firmware so that it can now be used in parallel with the MVF-2 viewfinder on the ALEXA 35.
Lastly, there are two new Custom Textures available: Super Nostalgia and Extreme Nostalgia, which look to be aimed at those who want to add a more vintage, textured look to their footage.
Download ALEXA 35 SUP 1.2.1, along with the full release notes, on ARRI's site. The CCM-1 SUP 5.5.2 firmware is also available to download from ARRI.
