For me, the most interesting slide is on "Improvement of Color Reproduction with Single Sensor System." It shows the color reproduction difference between a three-image sensor system (with separate RGB chips) versus a single-sensor Color Filter Array (CFA) system. As the slide explains, on conventional single-sensor designs there are many color reproduction issues caused by energy leaking from one color to another. Panasonic suggests that they have solved this problem with a new pigment material.
