Sharing some of the design ethos of the WEAPON, the RAVEN offers simultaneous 4K Raw (4096 x 2160, R3D) and 2K ProRes recording to Mini-Mag SSDs. At a lightweight 3.5 pounds, it is available in EF mount with a sensor size of 20.48mm x 10.8mm (slightly smaller than APS-C) and can use many accessories from the WEAPON, including the new 4.7" LCD and OLED EVF that Andy covered at IBC. If you'd like to use your existing RED EVF or LCD from an EPIC or SCARLET, you can use the WEAPON Lemo Adapter A.
The RAVEN has powerful record capabilities, with a max Raw frame rate of 120 fps at 4K and 240 fps at 2K, while your maximum frame rate for ProRes 422 HQ is 60p at 2K. Like the rest of the RED family, the RAVEN offers various compression modes, up to 3:1 at 4K 30p.
