In our latest At the Bench video, Jason Zapata, AbelCine's Director of Integration, and I take a look at Canon's CR-N700 PTZ camera. We discuss the CR-N700's newest firmware capabilities, including auto tracking and the XC protocol support.
We also review applications where the CR-N700 could fit into some of our integration projects, especially those working with a more limited budget or smaller crews, such as in the enterprise, education, or house of worship spaces. At the same time, the image quality of the N700 makes it equally well-suited for live performance and sports capture.
In the video, we also discuss the recently-announced RC-IP1000, an advanced PTZ controller that allows for fast operation of the auto tracking features through a newly-developed control interface.
