AbelCine worked closely with Rob Fortunato, an Emmy-winning Director of Photography, whose company offers full-scale production crews for any size project. According to Fortunato, "When navigating the new COVID-19 production territory with complex client demands, you need like-minded problem solvers able to see the big picture. My production team found this in AbelCine."
Fortunato explained, "This complex event involved great collaboration. AbelCine’s team created a workflow that effectively merged my production team with their integrated virtual broadcast. We were able to very successfully engage our 350+ global audience for the three-day production." AbelCine’s Integration and Rental teams built an AV infrastructure around the TriCaster Mini 4K, Sony OLED monitors, BirdDog NDI module, and the TVU One and TVUPack. Drop kits were also created around Sony RX0s and Canon 5D Mark IVs for remote interviews. The TVU One, a live video transmitter that can aggregate up to 12 data connections, allowed for effortless streaming from within a high-rise building.
With the strong collaboration between AbelCine's Integration and Rental teams, along with the production know-how of Rob Fortunato's company, the firm's meeting was executed successfully. Though the conference couldn't happen in person, robust connectivity and high-quality transmission ensured that the tech didn't get in the way of the client's overall goal: to bring their team together.
Kits included the TriCaster Mini 4K and Sony OLED monitors.
Though the meeting featured 350+ participants in various locations, AV was run remotely from New York City. AbelCine's team made use of the TVU One, a cellular video transmitter that aggregates multipledata connection
