Overview
The ARRI FF-5 Follow Focus features a longer focus gear swing arm for better gear positioning with HD lenses. A lower gear ratio is also better suited to the smaller lens diameter of HD lenses, or cine lenses with a compressed focus scale.
The FF-5 can be mounted directly onto lightweight rods (15mm LWS) via a snap-on locking mechanism, ensuring simple and fast setup on the set. With a studio adapter it can also be mounted on 15mm or 19mm studio rod configurations. The FF-5 is compatible with driver gears for all popular types of HD and cine lenses. The drive gears mount on either side of the swing arm for maximum adaptibility.
This set includes small (35 tooth) and large (43 tooth) focus gears (0.8/32 pitch), a speed crank (focus lever), 300mm flexible focus whip, Left and Right Focus Knobs, and (10) flat marking discs.
