Overview
The Angenieux Optimo DP Zoom Lenses are compact, lightweight lenses with a maximum aperture of T2.8 and optimization for Super35 format digital cinema cameras. This lenses have very similar optical qualities of the short Optimo lightweight zooms. They beautifully render skin tones, and have that sharp, but not too sharp quality of focus. They accomplish this with a good balance between contrast and resolution. The lenses have low distortion, no ramping, and minimal breathing.
NOTE: These lenses are not for use on 35mm film cameras, due to extended rear element, which does not clear the spinning mirrors on film cameras.
