Dana Dolly Kit w/ Junior Stands and Speed Rail

Called a Rental kit because of it's popularity with Rental Houses, this portable Dana Dolly Rental Kit with Universal-style Track Ends and swivel wheels. One of the reasons this dolly is easy to use when on the go is that it arrives completely assembled.

The Dana Dolly has a capacity of 100lb.

All the components in this kit are secured in a custom, wheeled SKB Case with a folding handle.

Dana Dolly 

The Dana Dolly is designed to be flexible, affordable, and easy to set up. A key grip with over 20 years experience in all types of production design this simple and practical dolly. This T6061 aluminum dolly comes machined with a standard Mitchell mount. Use this Dana Dolly with a variety of track options. It can be supported using your standard junior stands, apple boxes, or the ground, whatever the shot requires. 

The 16-wheel design of the Dana Dolly offers floating trucks and a smooth glide to your moving camera shots. Part of that smoothness is due to the ABEC-7 precision bearings. Another reasons are the soft, polyrethane wheels. They are rounded to eliminate noise and bounce, which is common with skateboard-style wheels. These machined wheels also reduce squeaking noises.

The track ends and center support work with any size pipe from just under 1 1/4" (1.66" O.D.) to 1 1/2" (1.90" O.D.), whether the pipe is made of aluminum, stainless steel, or pretty much anything else. That leaves you with the option of adding additional pipe while on location. 

NOTE: Pipe is not included. The manufacturer recommends Schedule 80 aluminum as the pipe to purchase for everyday use.

The dolly features (6) accessory mounting holes. The three holes listed below are duplicated on each side of the dolly platform.

• 3/8-16" threaded mount point
• 3/8" through hole
• 1/4-20" threaded mount point

To help you use these mounts, Dana Dolly comes with a T-Tool with 1/2, 9/16, and 3/8" tools included. The 9/16" portion is to tighten or loosen the wheel trucks.

Bowl Adapters

Use the provided bowl adapters to accept all types of camera heads on the Dana Dolly's Mitchell mount.

The specially made 75mm, 100mm, and 150mm bowl adapters fit most standard leveling heads with a Mitchell mount.

The optional Dana Dolly stand has a "T" top welded to accept these track ends. It features two leveling legs, instead of one, which will allow it to level better on mountains or rocky terrain.

Universal Track Ends

Track ends ensure your pipe stays the proper distance apart. Track ends are designed to go into any of your standard 1 1/8" Junior receiver. Many use optional Baby Combo stands. Flip the track to the other side and you can support it with apple boxes, or go all the way on the ground for low mode.

Universal Track Ends are compatible with Baby or Junior stands, plus any size pipe from 1 1/4" to 1 1/2".

NOTE: The manufacturer highly recommends you use Junior or Combo stands, unless your camera weighs under 10 lb.
