MORE DETAILS
Cooke Varotal/i FF Zoom Lenses
The Cooke Varotal/i FF Zoom lenses feature the classic, natural yet sharp "Cooke look" to reproduce skin tones and textures to match the Cooke primes. The Varotals offer striking levels of detail for 8K resolution and beyond. All three lenses (19-40, 30-95, 85-215) feature a constant T2.9 aperture speed at all focal lengths ensuring consistent results and creative control.
Designed from the ground up to incorporate Cooke intelligent /i technology, which includes /i data focus and iris position, /i motion inertial data and /i maps factory calibrated shading and distortion data. They also benefit from a high degree of modularity, which increases reliability and reduces servicing time.

Cooke S8/i FF Prime Lenses
Cooke S8/i T1.4 Full Frame Primes are true flagship lenses, offering a beautiful aesthetic and stunning optical performance. S8/i FF primes are faster, easier to maintain, and approximately 25% lighter than their S7/i predecessors, with an all-spherical design that evolves the classic “Cooke Look” for modern, full frame digital cinematography.
S8/i FF primes feature a uniquely organic cinematic quality, characterized by a smooth, natural, velvety, symmetrical spherical bokeh at the center, and an attractive “cat’s eye” bokeh manifesting off-axis (i.e., toward the edges of the frame), with minimal color fringing. This equates to high dimensionality in sensitive, emotive imagery. Cooke S8/i primes feature excellent low light performance, thanks to a very fast T1.4 maximum aperture across the range. Aside from being among the fastest lenses designed for Full Frame capture, S8/i primes also offer greater control over depth of field and flare characteristics, without graining in low light conditions.
