Overview
The Zeiss Cine Lens Certification is lead by Zeiss Service Trainer Simon Sommer along with an AbelCine Lens Technician, and is geared towards Sales Reps and Rental Technicians who wish to gain more knowledge about Zeiss Lenses.
In this course you will get to learn everything you need to know about evaluating and maintaining the Zeiss Supreme Primes, CP.3, and projection.
Session Topics:
- Basic adjustments and evaluation on CP.3 and Supreme Primes
- Discussion about other lenses in the Zeiss line
- Evaluating lenses on a projector
- Checking for scratches on elements
- Replacing front and rear elements
- Cleaning elements and mechanical parts
- Basic optical adjustment on projector
- Use of measurement technology

- Use of professional lens repair tools
- Lens disassembly and care
The training fee will include all related course documents such as price lists, drawings and diagrams, and your final certificate of completion.
