Overview
Join us for Monitor Calibration, live from the comfort of your home, on the road, or anywhere. In this interactive session you will see the instructor and be able to ask questions.
This class takes place on the Zoom video conference platform, which is free to join and easy to use. Instructions will be sent to you before the class begins. Once the class starts, you will see the instructor, the gear being used, and the instructor's presentation. You will be able to ask questions via a live, moderated chat. After the class ends, you will also receive a copy of the instructor's PowerPoint or Keynote presentation, and a recording of the class.
To truly judge your image on set and in post, it is necessary to have a properly calibrated monitor. From a small on-camera LCD screen to large home displays, most monitors offer some form of calibration adjustment. This workshop demonstrates the methods and tools used to calibrate a monitor. Focus will be on white point adjustment, color & contrast adjustment, and the tools used to analyze a monitor.
