Join us for Digital AC 101, live from the comfort of your home, on the road, or anywhere. In this interactive session, which covers the same topics as our popular, in-person Digital AC 101 workshop, you will see the instructor and be able to ask questions.
OVERVIEW
This class takes place on the Zoom video conference platform, which is free to join and easy to use. Instructions will be sent to you before the class begins. Once the class starts, you will see the instructor and the instructor's presentation. You will be able to ask questions via a live, moderated chat. After the class ends, you will also receive a copy of the instructor's presentation and a recording of the class.
Digital AC 101: Basic Knowledge & Practices gives participants a fundamental understanding of the building and operation of digital cinema cameras. Instruction begins with an introduction to various camera support platforms and leads you all the way through a fully built and accessorized camera. Topics will include lens choices and builds, as well as associated accessories. Signal output and monitoring will also be discussed.
This course is ideal for those who have little to no experience working with professional digital cinema cameras or want to amp up their knowledge of them. Participants will come away with a good foundation in the following:

- Lenses choices and related accessories
- Power requirements and choices
- Electronic accessories for lenses and video
