Join us for our special Gear Up: Full Format event in NY!
On March 22, we're inviting you to a special evening event in NY dedicated to full format cameras and lenses. The event will feature manufacturer booths on the showroom floor displaying the latest in full format gear. Attendees are encouraged to go hands-on with all the gear and get their questions answered by manufacturer specialists as well as our own AbelCine tech specialists. There will also be a filmmaker panel featuring special guest DPs.

Alexander Hankoff
Alexander Hankoff is an award winning producer, director and cinematographer originally from New York City. His work varies from commercials and documentary films to narrative cinema and music videos. Having come up in the commercial industry through directing and shooting for high fashion brands such as Dior and Tom Ford, his concentration over the past three years has been focused on long form narrative storytelling and documentary films. David Kruta
An award-winning Director of Photography and the son of Czech political refugees, David Kruta's lifetime has taken him through a variety of cultures, experiences and locations spanning the globe, naturally bringing him to New York City to fulfill his passion for cinematography and storytelling. David’s career in the arts included not only still and moving pictures, but also the culinary arts, graphic design and fine art - all of which have inspired him to create cutting-edge visuals in his pursuit for the perfect image.
David has shot feature films, commercials, documentaries, fashion, and music videos. He lensed the 2013 Sundance Competing feature film, Concussion, starring Robin Weigert (Deadwood) and Maggie Siff (Billions), and most recently won the Haskell Wexler Award for Best Cinematography at the Woodstock Film Festival for The Sounding.
