Join us on Friday, July 24 for Creative Forces Online! This FREE event will feature special guest cinematographer Tinx Chan, who will discuss his artistic approach to crafting shots as well as what inspires his work as a cinematographer. The stream will be hosted by AbelCine Director of Education Jeff Lee, with time for Q&A throughout.
Tinx Chan is a cinematographer native to Brooklyn, New York with a background in film studies and photography. With over 15 years of experience in features, documentaries, and commercials, he's traveled the world collaborating with numerous directors, bringing their vision to screen. His work on the short film Empty Skies was honored with an Emerging Cinematographer Award in 2019 and was featured in Camerimage and American Cinematographer Magazine.
Some of his other credits include Triumph’s Election Watch (2016), I Don’t Make The Rules (2017), The Lions of Chinatown (2018), Masterclass: Annie Leibovitz (2018), The Apollo (2019), and 2nd Unit on Wiener Dog (2016), It Must Be Heaven (2019), and I’m Thinking of Ending Things (2020).
