Join us later this month for free evening events highlighting the new Sony BURANO! A panel of creatives will discuss their experiences using the BURANO and screen footage that was captured with the camera. There will be lots of hands-on time with the gear, plus both Sony and Abel specialists will be available to answer any questions.

Rick Siegel is an award-winning Director of Photography who has worked in film and television for over 30 years. Siegel was DP on the Emmy-nominated HBO Special Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill starring Audra McDonald. His narrative film work includes the feature films Bomber directed by Paul Cotter, Trust, Greed, Bourbon & Bullets directed by Scott Kawczynski, and the short films The Shovel, The Dare Project, and 20 Dollar Drink. | www.ricksiegel.net
Bill Winters is a two-time Emmy Award-winning Director of Photography with over 20 years of experience in the film and television business. He is best known for his documentary and commercial work shooting several shows on Netflix, Disney+, and AppleTV+. Noteable shows include Big Vape and Dear... directed by RJ Cutler, Jeremy Renner's Rennervations, Twentysomethings: Austin directed by Zach Merck, and Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich produced by Joe Berlinger. Bill helped create the look of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee for Jerry Seinfeld and shot Season 1 for director Jojo Pennebaker. Bill won a Prime Time Creative Arts Emmy for his camerawork on Hamilton (Disney+) for Declan Quinn, ASC. Bill has been featured in ICG Magazine, as well as Sony’s website; he has also been a speaker at industry events. Alexander D. Paul is a cinematographer whose work can be seen across multiple platforms including Showtime, Netflix, Paramount+ and Apple TV+. His work includes HOME on Apple TV+ as well as Netflix’s highly acclaimed, Street Food: Asia which earned him a James Beard Award Nomination for Technical Excellence. Other recent projects include We Need To Talk About Cosby on Showtime, Street Food: USA and Chef’s Table: Pizza on Netflix, Sampled on Paramount+, as well as Seasons 1 & 2 of Well Done with Sebastian Maniscalco on Discovery+. Originally from New London, CT, Alexander graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor's Degree in media studies. Ted Newsome is a filmmaker and producer based in Los Angeles. He started his own production company, OTD Films, in 2012 and has grown it into a one-stop shop for cinematic content in documentary, promotional, commercial, music videos, narrative, and more. Some of his recent projects include The Hollywood Reporter's Director, Actor, and Actress roundtables which were shot primarily with the Sony BURANO. He was also involved in capturing behind the scenes content during the production of The Knowing, the film by Academy-Award winning cinematographer Emmanuel "Chivo" Lubezki and Cristina Mittermeier and Paul Nicklen (co-founders of SeaLegacy). | www.otdfilms.com
