Wooden Camera D-Box (Weapon/Scarlet-W/Raven, Gold Mount)

The Wooden Camera D-Box (Weapon/Scarlet-W/Raven, Gold Mount) is completely tool-less for installation and utilizes Wooden Camera's Cable-less interface which attaches directly to the back of the camera body, Base Expander Module, REDVolt Expander Module, and the OffHollywood O-Mods.

The upgrade on this D-Box will include new features. Wooden Camera is in the process of putting Amp limitations on the D-Box which will ensure that the camera receives the required 4-6A for normal operation. During the redesign process, the D-Box will be unavailable for order. An upgrade to units previously purchased and currently in use will be available at no charge upon completion of the redesign. If customers choose to continue using the D-Box in its current form, it is important to know what amount of power your batteries are capable of providing. A RED Brick battery can supply up to 10A with the camera generally consuming 4-6A in its standard configuration. Although the remaining power is available from the D-Taps, LEMO compatible connectors, Fischers, etc., it is best to limit the power draw from these additional outputs to 4A or less for best results. Consuming more power than a battery is capable of providing will cause the battery to shut itself off, and possibly damaging the camera and power accessory. Additionally, a camera shut-down can produce data loss.

Connectors on the D-Box are contoured to match the Expander Modules' which allow for all cables to be installed with no collisions. The module communicates with the camera and allows any ARRI standard start/stop trigger to be used with the 3pin Fischer port. The DC input on the D-Box is the same as the camera's LEMO allowing for an AC Power Supply or External Power Plate to be connected to power accessories and camera during a battery change. When both battery and DC input are utilized, the D-Box defaults to the DC input, leaving the battery fully charged.

An authentic Anton Bauer Gold Mount plate provides 2x D-Tap (unregulated) on the power plate itself but we should note that one D-Tap is obscured by the right side power outputs. Inside the D-Box is a 10A fuse and replacement fuses are included.
