Overview
Westcott Scrim Jim Cine Floppy Cutter Fabric - 4' x 8' is an essential light control tool for run-and-gun filmmakers, on-the-go cinematographers, and directors of photography. This convertible light modifier can be positioned in front of a light source to block light in a 4' x 4' square, or opened as a 4' x 8' rectangle, or bend in the middle to shade overhead and other positions.
Mounts to your Scrim Jim Cine Frame. Attach the edge of your Scrim Jim fabric to a frame with the hook & loop edging (heavy duty touch fastener) or with corner security tabs so your flag/cutter remains in place even on windy days.
This heavy-duty black fabric is almost reflection-free. It can be used to add negative fill or enhance shadows in a dark scene. You can also flag your lights, prevent light spill or become a large barndoor on larger light sources or natural window lighting effects.
The Scrim Jim Cine Floppy Cutter (SKU 1997) is crafted from ultra-durable, black premium Duvetyne fabric. Due to the density of the fabric you can even use it to block sunlight.
