Litepanels Astra 3X Daylight LED Light

The Astra 3X Daylight LED Light builds on the popularity of the Astra 1x1 Family. Following the Litepanels tradition of a one square foot form factor, the Astra series is designed with select premium quality, high CRI, surface mount LEDs and paired with custom optics which provides the Astra 3X series with high color quality that's perfect for lighting talent. It is also available in Bi-Color.

The Astra 3X has an impressive output that rates among the highest of LED panels. It is now 50% brighter than the Astra EP and 3 times brighter than the original 1x1. This higher intensity results in a longer throw and illuminates a wider area which allows the panel to compete with strong exterior light sources or illuminate a large area effectively with a single fixture. Of course, they are also flicker-free at any frame rate or shutter angle.

Astra 3X panels offer up to 364 footcandles at 5 ft (1.5 m), passive cooling (no fan), and a maximum power draw of 55W. They provide superior color reproduction with accurrate color temperatures and a high color rendition (CRI) TLCI rated. There is no noticeable color shift through out the entire range of dimming from 0 to 100%. 

Litepanels compares the Astra 3X to 125W PocketPAR or a 5640W Tungsten.

You can shape the light produced by your Astra 3X using a number of optional accessories designed for to modify light, such as barndoors, honeycomb grids, GEL sets, a Softbox, and other accessories available for us with an optional adapter frame.
