Overview
The SEL70200 is a 70-200mm telephoto zoom f/4.0 lens with a long zoom range ideal for sports and wildlife photography. This one includes an E-Mount.
The G lens offers impressive image quality throughout the zoom range. The smooth, creamy background bokeh and high resolution quality of the G Lens series is evident in images from this lens.
AA (advanced aspherical) elements, Super ED and ED glass elements, the Sony Nano AR Coating, and a 9-blade circular aperture add up to refined rendering with smooth bokeh where desired. Maximum aperture is a constant F4, and the physical length of the lens does not change when zooming or focusing. In addition, this lens offers Sony Nano AR Coating to eliminate flare and ghosting. The lens is also designed to be dust- and moisture-resistant.
Dual linear motors ensure fast, precise focusing. Focus hold, range limiter and other controls are located on the barrel for easy access.
Optical SteadyShot image stabilization is built-in for your convenience. Optical SteadShot IS compensates for camera shake, which can blur images during handheld shooting, as you undoubtably know.
