Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Zoom - A-Mount

The Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Zoom - A-Mount is the first wide-angle to standard zoom lens to achieve a fast f/1.8 maximum aperture. Designed specifically for APS-C sized sensors, the Sigma 18-35mm translates to 27-52.5mm on a 35mm camera. This lens incorporates a wide glass molded aspherical lens with Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass to compensate for aberrations and curvature at the widest angle. Internal focusing and zooming allow for more functionality and ease of use.

The 18-35mm is ideal for landscape photography, portrait photography, still life, snap shots, casual photography, and close-ups. The Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) ensures smooth, fast and accurate autofocusing. Thermal Composite Material (TSC) reduces the size and weight of the lens construction. Global Vision design features compatibility with the Sigma USB Dock (sold separately) for further customization. A 9-blade, rounded iris diaphragm creates beautiful bokeh (i.e., background blur).

Sigma has developed special software (SIGMA Optimization Pro) that can update the lens firmware and adjust parameters such as focus.
