Canon RF 50mm F1.2 L USM Prime (RF Mount)

The Canon RF 50mm F1.2 L USM Prime delivers gorgeous images in a large variety of situations. Designed specifically for the EOS R system, its f/1.2 aperture means amazing performance in low light and gorgeous, detailed images with evocative background blur.

RF Mount utilizes 12 electronic contacts to pass data to the optional EOS R Mirrorless Camera in a quick manner. This enhances autofocus and image stabilization in the camera.

With an intentionally large rear element closer to the image sensor the designers were able to develop smaller size lenses with fewer elements and greater focal lengths. This results in high resolution lenses. The design also results in tighter control over optical aberrations and image extremities. Same specifications for focal length and maximum aperture with same size and weight of current as EF mount lenses yet with significantly higher image quality. These lenses are designed for Full Frame cameras.
