Preston Cinema Bluetooth Module for Preston Connect

Preston Cinema Bluetooth Module for Preston Connect offers a Bluetooth smartphone connection to update the firmware on your Preston Cinema Systems devices, where cellular data or WiFi is available. A Firmware Notification will appear on your phone when a new firmware version is released, allowing immediate updates. Use this device to update your compatible units and to manage the lenses on your HU3.

The device also transfers Hand Unit 3 lens data to either Apple or Android smartphones. The smartphone stores the lens data in a database created by the PCS module app. The app allows the user to select which lenses from the database are to be uploaded to your HU3.

The lens data can also be transferred from the smartphone to a desktop PCS Lens Management app. This app, which runs on either PC or Macs, serves as a lens inventory database with virtually unlimited space. Individual lenses or groups of lenses can be selected and uploaded to a hand unit. This affords a quick and efficient method for rental houses to set-up hand units with their accompanying lens package.
