The ARRI Hi-5 Hand Unit is a 5th-generation intelligent wireless Electronic Control System (ECS). Replacing its predecessor (the ARRI WCU-4), Hi-5 provides reliable wireless camera and multi-axis lens control in demanding situations on set and in the field.
Its robust design is absolutely weatherproof, featuring new swappable radio modules for different territories and environment conditions. This ensures the best possible radio link range for every situation.
The Hi-5 is a critical centerpiece for ARRI's 5th-generation ECS ecosystem. Together with the new radio modules, new intelligent batteries, smart focus rings, Focusbug Cine RT integration, and an iOS app, the Hi-5 modernizes on-set connectivity, simplifying complex tasks for camera crews.
The ARRI Hi-5 hand unit with white-coded RF-EMIP radio module and accessories is compatible with ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA LF, ALEXA Mini, ALEXA SXT W, ALEXA 65, cforce mini RF, UMC-4 and RIA-1/RF-EMIP.
