Wooden Camera E-Mount to PL Mount Pro (Sony FS5)

The Wooden Camera E-Mount to PL Mount Pro (Sony FS5) is a shimmable mount adapter that enables use of all PL mount lenses with the Sony FS5 camera. Wooden Camera sets the flange focus at the factory to match a Sony FS5 camera. The user only needs to adjust the shims if the camera is out of calibration.

The adapter is shimmable by loosening six socket cap screws around the collar area, separating the two sections, and adding color coded shims of various thickness. Back focus should be checked using collimation tools or a wide lens focused to infinity. The mount includes a support ring that integrates with the Wooden Camera Top Plate for Sony FS5 (sold separately), a highly recommended addition to this system. Loosen the support ring thumbscrew to quickly remove the mount and install another adapter.

A 1/4"-20 Support Foot is also included, attaching to the bottom of the E-Mount to PL Mount, with a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for attachment to a tripod to eliminate strain on the camera. The support foot can also be attached to the Unified Baseplate (FS7) or (FS5) using the vertical support hole and the Unified Lens Adapter Support Kit (not included). An included PL Port Cap prevents dust from entering the sensor area when a lens is not attached.

NOTE: This adapter is also compatible with any E-Mount camera (e.g., FS7, A7, A7r, A7s, A7 II, FS100, FS700, NEX-5, NEX-6, NEX-7, et al.), however, the support ring would not be utilized.
