Overview
The Sigma MC-11 Mount Converter - Sigma EF Mount to E Mount enables use of your SIGMA EOS mount interchangeable lenses with the Sony E Mount camera body. The MC-11 incorporates the digital data necessary to provide fast and smooth AF for compatible lenses as well as OS features and functions of the camera that help control peripheral brightness, correct transverse chromatic aberration, distortion, and more.
An LED display on the adapter indicates lens compatibility, and the MC-11 is also updatable with Sigma’s USB docking station (sold separately). Flocking inside of the converter allows the image to be maintained while the internal electronics record all data from the image for later review. Functions such as Eye Detection and Autofocus are supported through the MC-11.
As Sony E Mount camera bodies do not require mechanical integration with lenses for aperture control, the MC-11 makes SIGMA interchangeable lenses for Canon cameras fully compatible with the automatic exposure control of Sony E Mount camera bodies. MC-11 is also ideal for professional photographers who use different camera systems depending on the subject, as well as amateur photographers who enjoy using a variety of camera systems. Users of Sony E Mount camera bodies will enjoy an immediate increase in the number of lenses available to them.
Like all Sigma Global Vision products, each converter is hand-crafted at a single factory in Aizu, Japan, and individually inspected before shipping. Sigma offers a 4 Year mfg. warranty in the USA.
NOTE: When used with a camera body that is compatible with Fast Hybrid AF, AF-S mode, the MC-11 delivers extremely fast and smooth autofocus performance. With other camera bodies featuring contrast detection AF, it offers very high-precision autofocusing.
