Overview
This OptiTek ProLock Mark II Adapter allows Canon EF mount lenses to attach to Sony F mount cameras, such as the Sony PMW-F3, PMW-F5 and PMW-F55.
A few upgrades are included in this version:
- Iris initialize by either the iris up or iris down button
- 1/8 stop increments for opening/closing
- Sequential action when the button is held down (iris up or down button)
The ProLock EF features electrical contacts to allow powered control over the iris in 1/8 stop increments via keys on the mount. The mount adapter also provides power to Image Stabilization (IS) and internal focus servos.
When used in combination with an optional Optitek Optitron Lens Controller, precision repeatable remote focus control is also available. The Optitek ProLock EF draws its power directly from the camera mount. No additional cable is required.
The Optitek ProLock EF also features a PL-style clamping lock ring on the Canon EF mount. This assures that your lens will not shift in the lens mount.
