Overview
The ARRI EF Mount (LBUS) for ALEXA Mini / Mini LF / 35 features an LBUS connector and a new, wider light baffle that illuminates Super 35 and large format sensor areas. Canon EF lenses feature internal motors that can be controlled with the WCU-4, SXU-1, OCU-1, or Master Grips. Lens metadata (focal length & iris, no focus) are passed through to the camera.
The EF Mount (LBUS) can be used on ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA Mini and AMIRA cameras, but only ALEXA Mini LF and ALEXA Mini support the LBUS connector. The EF Mount (LBUS) does not require a specific Software Update Package.
IMPORTANT NOTE: ARRI does not recommend using the old EF Lens Mount (K2.0001103) on ALEXA Mini LF cameras, as vignetting may occur on larger sensor formats.
