Tiffen Water White Ultra Polarizer Linear Filter - 4.5"

The Tiffen Water White Ultra Polarizer Linear Filter - 4.5" provides color and contrast enhancement. Reflected light often photographs as whitish glare that washes out color in an image. A Polarizer corrects this problem, also removing glare from non-metallic surfaces, such as windows and water. Color saturation and tonality, in general (especially outdoors), can be improved significantly. 

Tiffen Linear UltraPol filters are crafted from ultra-quality Water White glass, using Tiffen's proprietary ColorCore technology. UltraPol filters extract the maximum amount of unwanted glare from a scene and render crisp, white clouds against a dramatically blue sky. Linear polarization effect is most pronounced at 90° (perpendicular) angle to the sun.

NOTE: Not for use with cameras featuring polarizing elements in the beam-splitters of the viewing system (such as ARRI 435 and the Movie-Cam Compact), or certain high definition video cameras with complex optical blocks (such as the Sony PMW-EX1, PMW-EX3, and PDW-700) that polarize the red and blue channels to a greater degree.
