Overview
The Tiffen IR Neutral Density 1.8 Full Spectrum Filter - 4x5.65 eliminates infrared bleed above 700nm. This allows the use of heavier Neutral Density filter values needed for ultra high definition camera sensors, while maintaining complete color balance.
This filter is made from optically pure Water White glass and manufactured to the highest standards using a proprietary lamination process that grinds and polishes both surfaces to achieve perfect parallelism. For the cinematographer, this means absolute consistency and worry-free handling.
All Full Spectrum filters incorporate Tiffen's unique ColorCore technology, sandwiching the coating within the filter and allowing for easy cleaning without fear of damaging the filter (a primary concern with inferior surface-coated filters).
