The Tiffen Clear / Tobacco 1 Grad SE Horizontal Filter - 4 x 5.65 adds a warm, yellow-brown color to the sky or highlight image areas without affecting the neutrality of the rest of the image. This allows the user to achieve more balanced exposure in conditions with uneven lighting between sky and ground. The Tobacco Color Grad effect warms the image most at full density before fading to clear, with a “Soft Edge” transition preferred for use with wide angle lenses. This filter features a horizontal orientation.
Tiffen filters are crafted with ColorCore technology, where the filter substrate is laminated between two pieces of optical glass, ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000 inch.
