Overview
The Tiffen 85 Linear Ultra Polarizer Filter - 6 x 6 is both an 85 color conversion filter and linear polarizing filter. The 85 filter attribute provides a warming effect, decreases color temperature from 5500K to 3400K, and enables the use of tungsten-balanced film in daylight conditions.
The Ultra Pol linear polarizing effect filters out polarized light from surface reflections, significantly reducing glare and overal reflections from non-metallic surfaces. Saturation of sky and foliage is increased, with enhanced image clarity when shooting in hazy conditions.
Tiffen filters are crafted with ColorCore technology, where the filter substrate is laminated between two pieces of optical glass, ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000 inch.

NOTE: Linear polarizers do not support camera autofocus or auto exposure functions; choose a circular polarizer (not included) for applications requiring autofocus/auto exposure.
