Overview
The Lindsey Optics Brilliant2 +3 Diopter Tray Mount Close-Up Lens - 4 x 5.65 drops directly into a 4" x 5.65" mattebox, occupying 3 filter tray slots (stages). A close-up lens with +3 diopter is used to focus on a slightly smaller object field, when the cine lens being used is unable to focus that closely. The large 138mm round lens provides a 5.1" diameter clear aperture in the tray, allowing use with large lenses and wide angle lenses. All Lindsey Optics lenses have a broadband, multi-layer, anti-reflection coating (MC Coating).
The unique tray mount design allows quick and easy changes of close-up lenses in both clip-on and rod-mount matteboxes. Also available in the following strengths: +1/4, +1/2, +1, and +2 Diopter. Brilliant2 diopters fit in ARRI, Bright Tangerine, Chrosziel, Vocas, and other professional 4" x 5.65" cine matteboxes.
NOTE: This +3 Diopter requires 3 filter tray slots (stages) in the mattebox.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This filter is not compatible with RedRock Micro matteboxes, or with the Tilta Studio mattebox.
