Overview
The Cooke Panchro/i Classic Full Frame Prime Lenses are the Full Frame version of their popular Panchro Classic lenses. The Panchro/i Classic FF comprises 12 prime lenses, with focal lengths from 18mm to 152mm. Optically designed to provide the classic renowned vintage Speed Panchro look of the 1920s combined with modern opto-mechanical design. The optics are designed to give maximum performance at full aperture with superior control of flare, distortion and spherical aberration.
Focus Movement
Cooke's Academy Award winning cam-style focus movement coupled with the added benefit of a large lens barrel diameter, allows for an increased number of focus markings, particularly at close focus. A four-point contact bearing provides a smooth positive backlash-free movement. Ergonomically designed to have smooth and accurate travel – whilst utilising precision mechanics to provide a consistent feel in operation through the entire focus movement.
/i Technology
The Cooke /i Technology ecosystem provides critical lens metadata such as focus and iris position, as well as individually calibrated lens distortion and shading maps. Suitable for the most modern VFX applications such as Virtual Production shooting.
Compatibility
All Panchro/i Classic series primes have standardised 0.8 MOD focus and iris drive gears. All lenses in the series also feature a fixed common front diameter of 110mm.
Color Balance
All Panchro/i Classic prime lenses are colour balanced and colour matched – ensuring consistency across the series.
