ARRI Ballast 575/1200 EB with DMX

ARRI Ballast 575/1200 EB with DMX (L2.76426.0) works with your ARRI 575W or 1200W light fixtures. It can automatically detect and recognize lamp types of 575W and 1200W. ARRI Ballasts feature state-of-the-art electronics and offer easy maintenance, automatic fault detection, and extensive status indicators, plus they offer reliability and safety.

This Electronic Ballast provides:

• No synchronization of cameras needed
• Typical lightripple maximum of 3%
• Automatic line filtering or ALF for more effeciency
• Light intensity increased by at least 5%
• Constant lamp power
• Constant lamp temperature
• Constant light quality
• Dimmable from 100-50%
• Cold start and restrike
• 10% variations in power supply does not effect the power of the lamp
• Increases bulb life by at least 20%

An Electronic Ballast provides substantially less volume and weight compared to magnetic ballasts. 

Dimming and Flicker Free Capabilities

Control light intensity with the dimming capabilities with the stepless dimming potentiometer. You can dim from 100% down to 50%.

Although this Electronic Balance is flicker free, in the 50 Hz / 60 Hz position, the light is no longer flicker free. In this setting, the EB Ballast will behave like a magnetic ballast. The same limitations for speed of camera and/or shutter angle apply as they would on a magnetic ballast.

DMX Remote Control

You can control both dimming and switching on/off light fixture power via DMX remote control. These two functions are separated onto channel one and channel two. 

Be sure to follow manual instructions from the manufacturer regarding how to set up your control and channels appropriately.

Pair this Electronic Ballast with your compatible control boards or dimmer packs for remote control. 

NOTE: To control this ballast via remote you need to switch it on via remote first. Please do not exceed 70 V (peak) of remote control signal.

It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (IP22 protection).
