Codex Compact Drive 2TB

The ARRI Codex Compact Drive 2TB offers a reliable and fast drive compatible with ALEXA 35 and ALEXA Mini LF cameras. Each Codex Compact Drive 2TB offers 1920 GB usable capacity and a write speed of 16 Gbps (~2000 MBps). This speed allows an ALEXA 35 to run at maximum fps for all ARRIRAW formats (and some high quality Apple ProRes formats). An ALEXA Mini LF can only use the additional space for an extended recording time.

Recording capacity at 24fps for ALEXA Mini LF:

• approx. 64 min ARRIRAW 4.5K OG
• approx. 240 min Apple ProRes 4444 16:9 4K UHD

Recording capacity at 24fps for ALEXA 35:

• approx. 56 min in ARRIRAW 4.6K OG
• approx. 3.5 hours in Apple ProRes 4444 16:9 4K UHD
