Overview
The Blackmagic PYXIS 6K is a powerhouse of a digital film camera, boasting a full frame 36 x 24mm 6K sensor with wide dynamic range and a built-in optical low pass filter that perfectly complements the sensor. Available in EF, PL, or L-Mount, this camera offers versatility to suit various production needs. Equipped with 2 x CFexpress media recorders and Ethernet connectivity for easy media sharing to Blackmagic Cloud, it records both 12-bit Blackmagic RAW and compact H.264 proxy files simultaneously.
Its design allows for maximum customizability, with multiple mounting points and accessory side plates enabling easy configuration into the ideal camera rig for any production. Crafted from precision CNC machined aerospace aluminum, the compact body is both lightweight and robust, suitable for mounting on cranes, gimbals, or drones. The multitude of 1/4" and 3/8" thread mounts, along with various side plates, expand mounting options for accessories such as handles, microphones, or SSDs.
