Core SWX HyperCore SLIM 7 RED 75Wh 14.8V Battery - V-Mount

The Core SWX HyperCore SLIM 7 RED 75Wh 14.8V Battery - V-Mount is a slim battery pack capable of handling high draw loads. The battery is capable of handling power draw up to 10A (148W), without deterioration in service life or operability.

With Lithium Ion cell transport and travel being of utmost concern, this durable, 75Wh (82Wh Nominal), V-Mount battery pack falls within the range of accepted capacity for air travel and was designed to power RED cameras. Communicating directly with the camera, it delivers the exact percentage of remaining capacity to the VF/LCD.

The battery cells are encased in an over-molded, rubberized housing, which provides additional protection against accidental impacts. The rubber texture reduces the chance of the battery slipping out of your hands.

Each battery is outfitted with an accelerometer to detect motion. The accelerometer is tied to a clocking algorithm to gauge how long the battery is not in use. One of the issues with all battery packs is self-discharge when not in use. HyperCore battery packs will hibernate when there is no battery usage or movement after a 48 hour period. Once the battery detects the slightest movement it returns to readiness at its maximum capacity.

As with all Core SWX batteries, the HyperCore SLIM 7 has an integrated P-Tap connection on the side of the battery, allowing you to power any 12V DC device.

Any charger within Core SWX charger lineup will charge HyperCore, but the battery series is also the most cross-platform compatible in the industry today. HyperCore V-mount batteries will also charge on RED, IDX, and Sony V-Mount chargers, allowing you to maximize the service life of your existing equipment.
